Farewell Collective was founded by Northern Beaches funeral director, celebrant and death doula Kathryn Breusch in 2003. Kathryn has spent more than 20 years walking alongside families at the end of life and through the days that follow.

We sit with you, listen, explain what needs to happen and help you work out what can wait. We guide you through the practicalities of arranging the funeral, while giving you the space to think about what kind of farewell feels right for the person you love.

There is no need to arrive with a plan and no expectation that you know how funerals work. We take it together, one step at a time.

Around Kathryn is the Farewell Collective — a trusted circle of people she has built relationships with over many years, including Picaluna, with whom she has worked alongside since its early days. Together, the Collective can bring the right support around you, from funeral and mortuary care to celebrancy, flowers, music, food and meaningful places to gather.

Whether you're planning a traditional funeral, a simple cremation, a celebration of life or something entirely your own, you don't have to coordinate it all yourself.
